We list our apparels based on US Sizings, but as sizes differs between manufacturers, it's always better to check the exact measurements as published on every listing, and then double confirmed with an item that fits well. Back to top

What is World of Batik's office hour?
Our normal office hours are:
Monday - Friday, 9:00am until 5:30pm (GMT +8).

What are your international/ domestic charges to ship?
We charge our customer on shipping rate based on the total weight of the item(s) purchased. This is our new initiative to make sure that what you are paying is close to the actual shipping charges that we are paying to the postal service provider. Back to top

What are the expected shipping transit times for shipments?
Shipping transit times for the following types of shipping services are:
International Registered airmail: Transit time will be approximately 7-21 business days worldwide. If you are lucky enough, it may be on the low side of that estimate, or even "slightly" earlier :)
FedEx: Transit time will be approximately 3-5 business days.
Domestic Post Laju EMS: Transit time will be approximately 2-3 business days.
Transit time may vary greatly depending on a lot of factors outside of our control. If you are lucky enough to live in a beautiful "remote" area, it will take longer to reach you. Does World of Batik ship to PO Boxes?
World of Batik is able to deliver to all postal addresses, including PO boxes via international registered mail. Courier services do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. Back to top
After I pay, how long before my package ships?
We normally take 1-2 working days from the time we receive payment for your order to your package leaving our warehouse. That is our "buffer", but the truth is we typically ship out everything the day after you pay! Of course, like any other business, weekends or Holidays may affect that time, but not by much. We get really nervous if our shipping begins to back up for even one day! Back to top
Can I track my shipment?
Any and every time you buy from us you should receive an e-mail that indicates we have shipped your package. Package tracking number will only be provided upon request. You may write to us to request for a tracking number to follow your package. You can track your parcel through:
Federal Express: FedEx tracking site (http://www.fedex.com); very efficient and tracking available once your parcel leave our warehouse.
DHL Express: DHL tracking site (http://www.dhl.com); very efficient and tracking available once your parcel leave our warehouse.
International Registered airmail: United States of America: USPS tracking site (http://www.usps.com/shipping/trackandconfirm.htm); although they usually only have the record of your package a day or 2 before actually delivering it to you.

Am I as the buyer, responsible for taxes/duties?
Our items have never incurred any duties/ taxes to our customers, but in the unlikely event that there are taxes/ duties to be paid, the buyer is responsible for them. Back to top
What payment methods will World of Batik accept?
We accept the following types of payment methods:
Malaysia: Local/personal cheques, direct deposit into our bank account, or Maybank2U wire transfer, on top of our usual choice of PayPal payment.
Australia: Direct deposit into our Westpac Australian bank account, on top of our usual choice of PayPal payment.
Rest of the world: Payment through Paypal and credit cards or e-cheque via PayPal only. We will wait for your e-cheque to clear before we actually ship package. We DO NOT accept any cashiers cheques, money orders or personal cheques. Back to top
How do I know that you received my payment?
As soon as we have received your payment and processed accordingly, we will send you a confirmation e-mail, indicating we have received your payment. Shortly thereafter, you should receive a Shipping Confirmation E-mail, indicating that your package has been shipped. Back to top
What if I want to World of Batik to ship my package to a different address?
When you checkout your order with us, you will be prompted to enter a new shipping addres if you do not want to use your PayPal default address. You can change your shipping address there.
You can also notify us immediately after you make your purchase. We do ship quickly so we cannot guarantee that we will be able to ship to an address other than the one we get as a default! Of course, we want to do everything we can to accommodate our customers. Back to top
